Several flights and cruise ships have had to be cancelled or diverted due to Hurricane Earl which is currently causing havoc across the Caribbean.
Royal Caribbean, Carnival and Royal Caribbean cruises have all be affected by the storm and have re-routed destinations to avoid the Hurricane. The storm is currently headed for the Caicos and Turks Islands which forecasters predict will be hit by the storm later today. It is also feared the hurricane may hit America later in the week with states such as North Carolina up to Main being told to keep an eye on the storms progress. Forecasters are also warning New York, Philadelphia and Washington that they may be awash with heavy rain come Thursday and Friday.
The Hurricane has grown in strength and is currently a category 4 leaving power cuts and heavy rain fall in its wake. So far there has been no serious damage caused but it is too early to assess the damage that has and may be caused. Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands have now seen the worst of the storm.
